Excluding dairy in a lifestyle where eggs are acceptable could be tricky because these two go hand-in-hand with many dessert recipes. Like Vegetarian Myth #18, vegetarians can very well eat junk food, but pizza has cheese, cake has milk and egg, so do cookies.. you get the idea. This is where cooking/ baking skills come in handy! You can bake a cake with soy, almond, or rice milk and create your own pizza with vegan cheese. The lifestyle becomes easier as you do your research, find your options, and know where to buy or make them.
Things to Look Out For: Certain pastries are prohibited, so be careful when buying chocolates, cakes, cookies, even certain food has milk. Do NOT eat eggs everyday. It's advisable to eat them at least two to three times a week. Ovo-vegetarianism is not for leaning heavily on the egg option, but to be healthier without giving out some form of poultry. Exercise regularly and start learning how to cook and bake (unless you already know how.)
