Returning home after five years.

Location wise, my heart is split into two places: Los Angeles and Mexico. Although born in Los Angeles, I would take annual trips to Mexico that would last one month or more. Sadly, 2O1O was the last time I stepped on Mexican soil, until yesterday. The trip was unexpected and very last minute. I wasn't able to travel deep into Mexico to the two states that my parents are from, but the surface is better than nothing! With a Calofornia ID and expired passport, I took my chances and crossed over. Here are some photos of my Saturday in Tijuana. (There are not many photos because it was raining).

Mexican currency is so beautiful with every detail, history piece, and art. So unfortunate that such amazing things have recently been devalued.

A lovely selection of CarlosV chocolates. / Una Linda selección de chocolates CarlosV.

Rice, beans, and tortillas larger than my head while looking at the beach.

The new edition to the family, Dracula. She's not the first animal I bring from Mexico to the United States.

Bathed, clean ears, and sleeping to the sound of classical music. You'll learn more about her in the future.

    2. Many years ago I adopted a ginger feral kitten and my hands looked like they had been mauled by Freddy Kruger when he got through with them! He turned into such a loving cat though and I'm sure Dracula will too :)

    1. Gracias. :)
